Gundog, not to be confused with bomb dog, drug dog, truffle dog and the various assistance dogs enriching many human lives. This title refers to the Australian Kennel Club’c classification of dog breed groups such as Gundogs, Toys, Hounds, Terriers etc. which is based on dogs’ traditional utility for humans. Any one that has ever lived with a dog knows the greatest utility is friendship and a dog’s character or personality outshines their appearance.
