This is a study for the painting Fabric of SpaceTime. Most branches of science fascinate me and cosmology is one of my favourites. It is a supremely varied field of study for scientists who labour to understand the nature of our universe. Often, I am particularly moved by the earnest methods that scientists use to explain their work to us non-scientists. True scientists are brilliant yet humble human beings. Readily admitting how much they don’t know. And, that our collective current knowledge, theories, observations are merely limited approximations. A paradigm that, for me, has a parallel in artistic expression. Both involve overcoming challenges of communication.
