Do intergalactic wormholes exist? Some current theories propose that they do. Astronomical black holes, which are related, used to occur only in concept until astronomers assembled the Event Horizon Telescope recently to record a real one. The ingenious creation of the EHT is an amazing story in itself. An innovative, far seeing tool that may yet confirm the presence of wormholes as well. This artwork, from my science series, proposes colour harmonies and techniques of modernist painting as a language analogue for comprehending our physical universe. In this case, a wormhole that connects two distant galaxies, observed via feeble, low res technology. Feeble not because of laziness on the part of science but, our current limited ability to record such theoretic far away strangeness. I find there is profound poetic beauty in the endeavor to understand it and even more in the desire to share these findings.
